The Characters
Johnny Butler:Captured by Lenni Lenape Indians when he was four years old, Johnny is now forced to go back to his white family causing much contriversy between him, his Indian family, and his white family.
Gordie:Johnny's white brother. Gordie is the only person who likes the way his brother acts and look up to him for being like an Indian.
Cuyloga:True Son's (Johnny Butler's) Indian father. Doesn't go with True Son on the boat raid because he doesn't trust Johnny after being with his white family. In the end Cuyloga bids farewell to Johnny because he says Johnny has betrayed the Lenni Lenape Indians and he can't ever come back again.
Uncle Wilse:Johnny's white uncle. Hates all indians and even says bad things to Johnny about it. He also lead a group of white people to massacre an Indian tribe.
Little Crane:Little Crane was True Son's Indian cousin. He was murdered by Uncle Wilse. Johnny and Half Arrow plot to get revenge on Uncle Wilse for killing Little Crane.
Half Arrow:Johnny's Indian brother. When Johnny is taking his journey back to his white family he stays with Johnny so he doesn't feel homesick. Helps Johnny get revenge on Uncle Wilse for killing Little Crane.
